Rear Spoiler Query

I may be getting a S3 380 VRX to do a little work to, and it has the rear tail lamps with a lip spoiler on the bootlid.

I will be wanting the clear tail lamps and the matching spoiler naturally.

Before I go ahead and order parts, will the holes for the factory lip spoiler support the spolier that integrates with the tail lamps or do I have to get another bootlid?

The car will be resprayed so colour isn't a hurdle really if I have to change the panels.

Turns out, the pressings are different but modification is doable.

The person who fitted the original spoiler cocked it up a bit for alignment but its sorted now.

You can fit a spoiler but there must be 8 holes drilled and sealed specifically.

that is no S3 vrx spoiler either.....
S3 are the bigger one mounted on top of the boot.

You’re correct. The car is a parts special. Came with the rubbish spoiler, and the useless clock instead of the better screen, but had leather seats etc etc. It’s a puzzle.

Yep..
